About the Office

We are Dr. Taline and Dr. Sako. Having been friends since grade school and having over 15 years of combined experience in all aspects of dentistry, we decided to become business partners and, together, open the best dental office ever!

Dr. Taline graduated from the USC School of Dentistry in 2008, and I, Dr. Sako, from the NYU College of Dentistry in 2007. After three years of searching for the perfect location in Studio City, we finally found a dental office space that would best cater to our patients… and, yes! we have parking! Amazing, isn’t it?

Sure, our office looks awesome. And yes, Dental Design Studio City sounds cool. And obviously, we’re both totally rad. But none of that matters if you, our patients, don’t feel absolutely comfortable and confident with us and our abilities – so we have 3 very simple rules set in place to help ensure this.

Rule Number 1: Our sole purpose is to serve YOU
Yes, it is our office – but we’d be nothing without you. As dentists, our success is measured by the health and satisfaction of our patients. Our goal is to help guide you towards the best decisions regarding your oral health and getting you there as conveniently and as comfortably as possible. We provide the knowledge, you make the final decision, we’ll help you get there.

Rule Number 2: Communication is a must
After our initial exam, we’ll have enough clinical information to prepare a treatment plan. But in order for it to be customized to your specific needs, we’ll both need to share some key bits of information – a first date, if you will! Every patient is unique, from their personal preferences to their financial circumstances, and we’ll cater differently to each and every one of you as long as we can puzzle together the information we need. We can talk at length about the physiology of tooth decay, or briefly discuss how to deal with sensitive teeth. We’ll discuss your options, let us know your ideal outcome, we’ll help you get there.

Rule Number 3: Transparency is key
We are proud to have a finely tuned facility that abides by the strictest rules and regulations and have no reservations in making ourselves available to you to the extent that HIPAA and OSHA laws allow. Also, we are all human and like to interact as humans – so, ask us anything and we’ll respond openly to the best of our abilities. We have multiple ways of being contacted, so pull out whatever new gadget you have, send us a question, and we’ll respond as soon as we can! There is a certain anxiety that comes with the unknown – alleviate those fears and take all the time you need to ask questions, let us know what you need to feel comfortable, and we’ll help you get there.

And that’s it…

At the end of the day, we know it’s a dental office, and yes, sometimes it sucks. But our goal is to make the process a little less impersonal and a lot more comfortable. We feel that these 3 simple guidelines can help create a uniquely personal relationship, and perhaps help you hate “the dentist” a little less!

We hope we’ve provided some insight and helped make your dentist search a little less… painful (tee-hee). Whether or not you decide to become a patient, we welcome anyone in need of some dental guidance and are always happy to help with any questions you have. You may notice a set of blue buttons to the upper right or below our office hours – use them to send us a message with any questions you may have, or if you feel that you’re ready, set up your first appointment! Let us know what you need, and we’ll help you get there.
