Dr. Taline Kotchounian — Fun Facts

In my free time, I love playing volleyball, hiking, cycling, and game nights with my family.

Random Fact: I can quote lines from many 80s movies – favorites include “Back to School”, “Coming to America”, and “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels”.

Oh, and I also grew up watching WWF wrestling. My favorite wrestler – obviously – The Ultimate Warrior!

Dr. Taline's bench-side manner is truly wonderful. She gave me a thorough exam, explained potential issues and proposed plan to address them, walked me through each step and my teeth feel great.

I love being a dentist, but on my spare time there’s nothing I enjoy more than meeting new people and exploring the world, whether it’s through music, art, or travel!

I’ve climbed glaciers in Patagonia, hiked mountains in Sri Lanka, experienced the World Cup in South Africa, I was a bus driver, a nightclub promoter, I’ve been on a History Channel documentary, and I starred in several Listerine commercials!

Can I choose which dentist I see?

Absolutely, take your pick. Dr. Sako trained at NYU and Dr. Taline at USC, and both handle the full range of general and cosmetic dentistry. Plenty of patients see whoever has the first opening and end up happy either way.

How much experience do your dentists have?

More than 35 years combined. Dr. Sako finished his doctorate at NYU in 2007, and Dr. Taline earned hers at USC and completed a hospital residency at Montefiore in the Bronx in 2008. They’ve both been practicing ever since.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, always. Call or text 818-538-8899 or use the online scheduler on our site and we’ll get you set up. New patients are usually surprised by how quickly they can get in.
